CVCAA has a new partnership with the Texas Veterans Commission to fill the gaps in services for our brave veterans! Our grant will be able to assist veterans, surviving spouses, and even active duty with much-needed services such as...

  • Rental/Mortgage Assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • Vehicle Payments/Insurance
  • Limited Restorative Dental (Must have a treatment plan from a Dentist prior to assistance) 
  • Limited Funeral Costs
Veterans interested in this program need to complete our CVCAA application and submit verification of US military service, proof of income, and IDs. Veteran eligibility is open to all discharge statuses and lengths of service. Assistance is subject to fund availability.

To receive veteran/active duty services, you must provide one of the following:
  • Uniform Services ID Card 
  • Certification of Military Service 
  • DD-214 (Copy 4 only) 
  • NGB-22 
  • NA Form 13038 
  • Veteran Health ID issued by Department of Veterans Affairs 
  • Veteran ID issued by Department of Veterans Affairs 
  • Veterans Affairs Summary Letter with Character of Service 
  • Veterans Affairs E-Benefits Summary Letter w/Character of Service 
  • Certificate verifying Active-Duty Status from Dept of Defense 
Suviving spouses must provide two of the following and one of the above:
  • Marriage certificate 
  • Death certificate 
  • Uniform Service ID Card
